  We switched insurance to Dean this year and began to look for new doctors. So far it has been nothing but frustrating. All the MDs are booked months and months ahead so that you only get to see PAs (Primary care, Gynecology, Dermatology, Pediatrician). I personally prefer to see a doctor and not an assistant. Is Dean understaffed? Had never that kind of problems with other insurances perhaps because I could always go to a different provider (instead of UW Health to Associated Physicians or Meriter etc.) The staff that books appointments does a "hit and miss" job regarding being nice and helpful. Same goes for nurses and urgent care. I thought with Dean Clinics it would be a better experience than with UW Health, but it was not!

  My pulmonologist, Dr. Piotr Wodyla, and his staff are very professional and courteous. I like the fact that this is a doctor who (unlike others) is willing to sit with me, at length, to discuss my condition and all the treatment options that are available to me. He has a great depth of knowledge about his field of practice. He is by far the best pulmonologist that I've seen in a long time. I would highly recommended Dr. Piotr Wodyla to anyone who needs a pulmonary specialist. He exhibits a great understanding of pulmonary diseases and truly shows that you, the patient, is a top priority and that he cares about the people who are entrusted to his care.
